Water Legislation is updated daily and lists each bill the CWC is tracking, shows the CWC position, legislative review calendar, current status, fiscal note, provides audio files of committee hearings, and major highlights of each bill.
CWC Legislation Tracking provices a table of the bills currently tracked by the CWC, the CWC's positions (support, oppose, monitor, amend) and a schedule for the bills as they move through legislative review.
Bill Summaries provides a brief summary of each water-related bill as introduced by the legislative drafter. When amended in committee or during floor debate, we revise these summaries to reflect changes. Summaries are removed when the bills are killed in committee or lost in floor vote.
Legislative Fact Sheets are created by the CWC for each bill that it takes position on. The fact sheets provide background on the bill, and a rationale for the CWC position. It also lists other organizations that also oppose the bill.
