What Does The CWC Logo Represent?

The water-droplet form of the long-recognizable CWC logo contains seven segments, denoting the state’s seven river basins: South Platte, Arkansas, Rio Grande, Gunnison, Colorado, Yampa/ White and San Juan.

Its white triangles depict the snowcapped “fourteeners” along our Continental Divide.

The colors are but a small sampling of the countless hues offered up by our incomparable landscape - in aspen groves and pine forests, mountain meadows and high desert mesas, grassland prairies and farm fields.

The eighth segment - at bottom - is rendered in blue, a reminder of the precious water we all must share: that which begins with the mighty Colorado River, flowing as the lifeblood of the West.
