Advocacy overview
The Colorado Water Congress serves as the leading voice of our state's water community, shaping beneficial actions and legislation that develop, manage, protect and conserve water. We are a nonpartisan group that is rooted in decades of expertise and represents every watershed in the state.
As a membership and advocacy organization, we provide an open forum for members to share information, form positions and provide leadership on key water resource issues for the state's water community. Directed by the work of our committees, the Water Congress advocates on behalf of our members to state and national policy makers.
Through the work of our committees, the Water Congress is able to successfully promote actions and policy that support high-quality, sustainable water supplies through protection of water rights, conservation, planning, management and infrastructure investment.
By joining the Colorado Water Congress, you can help us find a common voice for a balanced water program.
