Eric W. Wilkinson
Eric currently serves as the General Manager of the Northern Colorado
Water Conservancy District (NCWCD) and the Municipal Subdistrict of NCWCD.
He has served as General Manager since 1994. Eric has worked for NCWCD
since 1987, serving as a Water Resource Engineer until 1990, a Senior Water
Resource Engineer from 1990 to 1991 and a Supervisory Water Resource
Engineer from 1991 to 1994.
Prior to working for NCWCD, Eric worked as a Water Resource Engineer for
the City of Greeley, Water and Sewer Department from 1984 to 1987 and as a
Water Resource Engineer and Senior Water Resource Engineer for the Colorado
Division of Water Resources from 1973 to 1984. Eric graduated with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with honors from Colorado
State University in 1973.
Eric serves as the South Platte Basin representative on the Colorado
Water Conservation Board (CWCB) and has done so since 2002. He was
Vice Chairman of CWCB from 2002-2003 and Chairman from 2003-2004. Eric
also serves as one of two South Platte Basin representatives on the
Interbasin Compact Committee (IBCC).
Eric has been a member of the Colorado Water Congress Board of Directors
since 1994 and serves on the Management and Budget Committee. He
also was one of two incorporators in 2005 of the South Platte Water Related
Activities Program (SPWRAP) which is a non-profit corporation established to
facilitate Colorado water users participation in the Platte River Recovery
Implementation Program. In addition, Eric has served as NCWCD’s
representative on the Front Range Water Council since 2006 and has served as
Chairman since 2008.

- Member of the Executive Committee for the Coordinated Facilities Operations Study for the Upper Colorado River Recovery Program, Programmatic Biological Opinion from 1998-2002
- Member of the Colorado River Advisory Council as appointed by Governor Owens (through Executive Order A 233 99 on November 5, 1999) from 1999-2006
- Member of the Board of Directors of Water for the West Foundation from 2001-2006 (Vice Chairman from 2002-2006)
- Member of three Statewide Technical Roundtables as part of Phase II of the Statewide Water Supply Initiative from 2005-2007
