CWC events are the place to be.
Our major events are where water professionals go to stay well-informed on the most important issues, current legislation, and latest developments that impact water users in Colorado and other western states. Strong attendance by an extraordinary range of water interests provides CWC event participants unparalleled networking opportunities. And when you
join the Colorado Water Congress, you'll enjoy significant, members-only discounts on registration fees to every CWC event.

Annual Convention...
The Colorado Water Congress holds its flagship Annual Convention over a
three-day period in the last week of January at the Hyatt Regency Denver
Tech Center. This event has convened every year since 1958; today it
typically draws more than 500 attendees to hear a well-rounded roster of
about 60 to 70 speakers, forum panelists and discussion leaders. They
provide technical expertise as well as a wide variety of political,
scientific and socioeconomic points of view on water issues. Included
are leading legislators, water lawyers, educators, scientists, and a
host of agency administrators in federal through local government levels
from across Colorado and beyond. The Convention includes general
sessions, a selection of concurrent sessions and more, with
approximately 30 to 40 exhibits on display.
Summer Conference...
Our Summer Conference and Membership Meeting runs in the fourth week of
August for two and a half days, where more than 200 attendees join us
annually. The summer event is typically held on Colorado's Western
Slope, providing another important opportunity for education,
legislative updates, networking and more - an added benefit to those who
are unable to travel in January to our Annual Convention in Denver. The
location for our summer gathering varies from year to year.
Seminars and Workshops...
Other CWC seminars and workshops offer both lawyers and other water
professionals additional educational opportunities. Continuing Legal
Education credits generally apply to CWC events. Programs and
registration details for all upcoming events are provided at right, by
event name, as soon as they are available.
