CWC Federal Affairs Committee
Our Federal Affairs Committee tracks federal legislation and actions of
federal agencies that are of interest to our membership. Meetings are most
often held monthly via teleconference. In 2009, 30 organizational CWC
members participated. Meeting typically include reports from Tom Donnelly
and the National Water Resources Association staff. Christine Arbogast and
former Colorado Representative Ray Kogovsek also help keep our members
informed of developments on the federal level.
The Federal Affairs Committee's involvement with National Water Resources
Association leadership further assists us in providing our members greater
accessibility to federal actions and breaking news.
