State Affairs Committee
Legislative positions of the Colorado Water Congress are determined
by a two-thirds majority vote of the State Affairs Committee. This
committee evaluates and tracks all State legislation that impacts
Colorado's water community and provides legislative updates to our
membership.
In 2009, 90 organizational members of the CWC were active in on the
State Affairs Committee. The Chairpersons of the House and Senate
Agricultural Committees and several members of the State Legislature are
typically in attendance at committee meetings, and sponsors of
water-related billed are encouraged by both Chairs to consult with the
Colorado Water Congress.
