Amy Beatie

Former Executive Director, Colorado Water Trust
Representing: Environmental
​Board Term: 2018 to 2021.

For the last ten years, Amy Beatie has served as the Colorado Water Trust’s Executive Director, a group dedicated to restoring streamflow to Colorado's rivers in need.   Previously, Ms. Beatie practiced water litigation at two Front Range firms, and prior to that, clerked for the Honorable Gregory J. Hobbs, Jr. of the Colorado Supreme Court.  She is the first Colorado Water Congress Board of Directors' Environmental Representative, and is on the Advisory Council to the One World One Water Center at Metro State University and the DU Water Law Review's Advisory Board.  In 2013, she won the CFWE Emerging Leader Award.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her law degree from the University of Denver.  She is currently a candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives (House District 4).
