The proposed initiatives will be on the 2017 ballot because they raise fiscal issues.

To date, there are three proposed ballot initiatives with the 'Authorize Bonds for Transportation Projects' topic. The following is a general topic summary of those proposed initiatives.

The 'Fix Our Damn Roads' Initiative. It points out that funding for the core governmental function of road and bridge construction, maintenance, and repair has decreased. It explores the options of finding additional funding for the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads and bridges without raising taxes or fees.
