CWC Staffing

We are pleased to announce AnnaLee Taylor has joined our core staff as Member Services Manager. Her responsibilities include member invoicing, event registration, and website management.
AnnaLee is an administrative professional who has been involved with a variety of water agencies and associations for more than ten years. Her expertise focus on meeting planning, website design, accounting, and office management. Her first job within the field of water began in Washington State, where she worked for over 7 years with the Washington State Water Resources Association (our counterpart in Washington).
Over the last four years, she worked with the National Water Resources Association in Washington, D.C. She fosters professional relationships with organizations and takes pride in streamlining process, maximizing efficiency, and working with others to ensure we responsibly care for our most valuable natural resource.

AnnaLee is already transitioning into the job extremely well. She is a natural at working with the membership management software and website platform that CWC uses. She is very professional, efficient, and understands how a water-related membership organization works. We were fortunate AnnaLee became available at the very time we were seeking someone with her skill set.

CWC Board Actions on 2018 Ballot

At their September 26 meeting, the Colorado Water Congress Board voted on the organization's stance on the following 2018 ballot action items:
  • Proposition 112, Setback Requirement for Oil and Gas Development: the CWC Board voted to oppose due to the potential loss of severance tax and the negative impact on water project loan funds.
  • Amendment 74, Just Compensation for Reduction in Fair Market Value by Government Law or Regulation: the CWC Board voted to oppose because the language is too broad and because it is a Constitutional Amendment.
  • Amendment Y, Congressional Redistricting: the CWC Board voted to support.
  • Amendment Z, Legislative Redistricting: the CWC Board voted to support.
