2018 Colorado Election Results, CWC Annual Fall Workshops, and CWC Annual Convention Registration Now Open

2018 Colorado Election Results

The 2018 Colorado Election results included a victory for gubernatorial candidate Jared Polis, attorney general-elect Phil Weiser, incoming Secretary of State Jena Griswold, and many more.

Here is a breakdown of the results for the ballot items the Colorado Water Congress has been tracking:
  • Proposition 112, Setback Requirement for Oil and Gas Development did not pass.
  • Amendment 74, Just Compensation for Reduction in Fair Market Value by Government Law or Regulation did not pass.
  • Amendment Y, Congressional Redistricting passed with 71%.
  • Amendment Z, Legislative Redistricting passed with 71%.

From groundwater to trans-basin diversions, this overview provides a comprehensive understanding for water professionals of every discipline.
