​ ​​In 2001, Kathy Kitzmann transitioned from environmental remediation consulting to a career at Aurora Water.  As a Water Resources Principal, she currently works to protect and develop new water supplies and new water storage capacity for Aurora’s future. Kathy is an active member in CWC standing committees and a National Water Resources Association Board Member. Raised in Wisconsin, Kathy holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Geology & Geophysics and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She continued her education at the University of Denver in Natural Resource Management advanced studies. Enjoyment beyond work includes travel and hiking.
