Impact Award

Established in 2025, this award is presented to the Colorado Water Congress member who has exemplifying outstanding service, leadership and active participation in the CWC, furthering the mission of the organization. The award honors a member of the Water Congress who has furthered the mission of the organization through their exceptional work in a specific area of expertise or field. The Impact Award need not necessarily be an annual one.

The CWC Executive Committee will consider individuals or organizations whose contributions to the ongoing success of the Colorado Water Congress are clearly outstanding. The CWC Executive Committee includes the Board President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer. The CWC Executive Committee will select one recipient.

Only one award may be given each year. An award is not necessarily given every year.

The award will be presented to the recipient at the Colorado Water Congress Summer Conference.

The nominee shall be a resident of the State of Colorado during his or her leadership contribution. Nominees shall be a member in good standing of the CWC.
